Position Title: Research Assistant / Administrative Assistant
Reports To: CEO
Status: Full time / Non-exempt
MISSION
Medicines360 is a non-profit pharmaceutical company that addresses unmet needs of women and children by developing innovative, affordable and sustainable medical solutions.
POSITION SUMMARY
Medicines360 is an innovative business model with a focus on issues related to access to reproductive health education and services, as well as an interest in addressing disparities in health outcomes for specific populations. The Research Assistant (RA) primary responsibilities will be to support the CEO in research assignments related to women’s health as well as a variety of other topics. The RA may also work closely with the Project, Fundraising and Marketing teams to support research needs as we develop our business model. You should be overqualified to be an administrative assistant, but enjoy performing as an EA approximately 25% of the time.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. (Other duties may be assigned).
- Discuss, design and perform literature and internet searches. Research a wide variety of women’s health related data and trends in marketplace. Synthesize and integrate results.
- Office based research. There is no laboratory research .
- Assist with the preparation of meeting documentation, grant proposals, research reports, and manuscripts for publication in scientific journals, etc.
- Assist with the development of presentation materials including handouts, posters and Power Point and graphics.
- Organize, update and maintain research content information and resources.
- Prepare correspondence.
- Provide administrative support to the CEO, including but not limited to Outlook calendar, travel, and meeting prep .
- Other administrative duties as deemed necessary.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in life science.
- 3-5 years research experience in a professional environment.
- Start-up and/or nonprofit experience.
- Significant familiarity with medical, technical, clinical, and health vocabulary/terminology.
- Admin experience as AA or EA.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced competency in Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, Visio, and Access.
