Title: Process Engineer

The product development engineer will work closely with the director of process engineering to advance product, process, and manufacturing development of drug and combination products for Medicines360 programs. In collaboration with the device development engineers S/he will provide engineering support for manufacturing of combination drug/device products for clinical studies, scale up and commercialization. The product development engineer collaborates, coordinates and documents engineering and development activities with Medicines 360 QA, QC, regulatory and project management as well as external manufacturing partners, raw material suppliers, and analytical labs. Working closely with project management, s/he will specifically develop, test, and document chemistry, manufacturing and controls as appropriate for applicable regulatory submissions.

Medicines360 is a recently founded non-profit pharmaceutical company working to address unmet needs of women by developing innovative, affordable and sustainable medical solutions. Our goal will be to generate profit through sales of our products in the commercial sector. Medicines360 will use this profit to support other program development, including providing products to underserved communities. We are seeking a Researcher (or several researchers, depending on skill set and expertise) who will support our efforts to develop our understanding of delivery, cost and quality requirements to fully understand the tiered pricing structure that we are developing to support the fulfillment of our program needs and mission. Working closely with Business Development and the Executive Office, the Researcher(s) will research reimbursement processes, partnerships, government initiatives, current events in the reproductive health area and other topics as needed to support our program needs. The Researcher(s) will be responsible for identifying, evaluating and disseminating information in a clear and concise manner to the teams s/he supports.

The Program Officer will primarily be responsible for developing and maintaining a strategy for the successful distribution and delivery of Medicines360 products to the public sector in the U.S and later to developing countries. The Program Officer will work closely with product distribution partners, the reproductive health community and management to achieve the highest level of impact for Medicines360 products and to ensure that Medicines360 is aligned to meet the cost, delivery and quality requirements to fulfill our program needs and mission. Working closely with Business Development, Marketing and the Executive Office, s/he will develop and manage external relationships throughout the US reproductive health community. The Program Officer will also elaborate on the strategic framework for the further evolution of public sector access and will be a very outward facing in this role requiring a high level of communication awareness. The program deals with socially and politically sensitive issues and is being implemented in a highly changeable context. In this environment, effective program management also involves planning for and managing a range of expected risks.
